Hello to everyone,
I am new to this site so hopefully I am posting the correct way. I have a computer problem that I can't fix and it is extremely frustrating. When I go into my e-mails and try to open up a microsoft word attachment I box pops up that says "invalid menu handle". It will not open the file. If I save the document to my desktop and open it that way I can view the file. My microsoft word is working fine and so are the e-mails that have other files attached to it like pdf, excel, etc. So I was wondering if there is anyone who could please help with this problem. Thank you soooo much.

Sounds like a file association problem.
Click Start - My Computer
On the menu bar click - Tools - Folder Options
Click the tab - File Types
Locate the file extension in the list and click to highlite. (DOC is standard, verify the extension from the email)
Below the list you will see - "Opens With"
Click "Restore" to reset the default program.
