How do I have my desktop open without clicking on user?

It would be a easier if my desktop can open without clicking on "User's icon". Without adding any passwords.

Are you using Windows XP?

how many usernames does you use?
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...

Yes, Im using XP's Home Edition.
I have only one other user.

Correct me if Im wrong but isn't it possible to chose my sign in name as the default, somewhere, and my log in name will start automatically?
