I. Download HijackThis!:

First, please download a new version of HijackThis.

1. Download HijackThis! Version 1.99.1 from http://castlecops.com/downloads-file-328.html
2. Please delete any older versions of HijackThis
3. Double-click on the downloaded file to extract the HijackThis.exe file.
4. Please move the new HijackThis.exe to your C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe

II. Please Launch HijackThis and place a check mark next to the following item(s)

I am currently not seeing anything malicious in your HijackThis log. There is only one item to fix:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UserFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -u

There are also two items that I have suggested below which are optional fixes. Fixing these may help to improve your system performance. By checking and fixing these items, you will only prevent them from running at startup and these can be run manually if needed. I have provided a description of each in blue:

"Checks with Sun's Java updates site to see if newer Java versions are available. This can be run manually by visiting http://java.sun.com or just run the Java Plug-In Control Panel"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_05\bin\jusched.exe

System Tray access to Apple's "Quick Time" viewer -- This has been known to use a decent amount of resources for little benefit and comes highly suggested to remove from running at startup.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime

Please close all open windows except for HijackThis and then click "Fix Checked".

III. Ad-Aware Scan:

1. Download and install Ad-Aware SE version 1.05 from http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910...page&tag=button
If during the install it asks to remove any older versions, allow it to do so.
2. Click on the "Earth" icon (top right) and retrieve the latest definition file.
3. Close all other programs except for Ad-Aware.
4. Select 'Use custom scanning options' and click on the 'Customize' link to the right.

  A.  Click on 'General' (on the top left) and make sure the following are checked and colored green:
      · Automatically save log-file
      · Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal
      · Safe Mode (always request confirmation)
  B.  Click on ‘Scanning’ (second from top on the left) and make sure the following are checked and colored green:
      · Scan Within Archives
      · Scan Active Processes
      · Scan Registry
      · Deep Scan Registry
      · Scan my IE favorites for banned URL’s
      · Scan my Hosts file
      · Click 'Select drives & folders to scan’ and select all of your hard drives.
  C.  Click on ‘Advanced’ (second from top on the left) and make sure the following are checked and colored green:
      · Include additional object information
      · Include environment information
      · DESELECT Include negligible objects information -- Checkbox should be red with an 'X'
  D.  Click the ‘Tweak’ button (on the bottom left):
Expand ‘Scanning Engine’ and make sure the following are checked and colored green:
      · Unload recognized processes & modules during scan
      · Scan registry for all users instead of current user only
Expand ‘Cleaning Engine’ and make sure the following are checked and colored green:
      · Let Windows remove files in use at next reboot
Expand ‘Log Files’ and make sure the following are checked and colored green:
      · Include basic Ad-aware settings in log file
      · Include additional Ad-aware settings in log file
  E.  Click 'Proceed' in the bottom-right corner to save your settings.

6. Click ‘Next’ to begin the scan. When the scan is complete, Click ‘Next’ again. Select the 'Critical Objects' tab and select all entries. This is easily done by right-clicking in the results and selecting 'Select all objects'
7. Reboot your computer

IV. Spybot Search and Destroy

I see that you already have Spybot -- Please verify that you have version 1.3.1TX.
If you have version 1.3.0, please start with step 1b.
If you have an earlier version, please uninstall it completely and start from the beginning (step 1a).

1a. Download and install Spybot Search and Destroy version 1.3.0 from this site: http://computercops.biz/downloads-file-108.html
1b. Download and install the Spybot Search and Destroy DSO Exploit hot fix from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4392.html -- Please make sure Spybot is closed when you launch this. When you re-open, the version of Spybot will read 1.3.1TX.
2. Click the button to ‘Search for Updates’ and then "Download Updates" should any be available.
3. Close ALL windows except Spybot S&D. Now, click on the 'Search and Destroy' icon and then click the button ‘Check for Problems’
6. When Spybot is complete, it will be showing ‘RED’ entries ‘BLACK’ entries and ‘GREEN’ entries in the window. Put a check mark beside the RED entries ONLY.
7. Choose ‘Fix Selected Problems’ and allow Spybot to fix the RED entries.
8. Reboot your computer

V. Run Disk Cleanup

Click "Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup"

Please make sure the following are checked:
-- Downloaded Program Files
-- Temporary Internet Files
-- Recycle Bin
-- Temporary Files

Click "OK" and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

VI. Panda Software Online Virus-Scan:

Please use Internet Explorer and navigate to http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/co...n_principal.htm
Click on "Scan your PC"
A box will pop-up, click "Next"; Then, type in your email address and click "Send"
Select your Country and State/Region. Click "Start"
A message may appear asking you to agree to the installation of ActiveX components on your system, click "Yes".
Please make sure all five options are checked and then click "All my computer"
Another box will pop-up, click "Close". Your scan should then begin.
When it is finished, please click "See Report" then click "Save Report"

Please post the contents of the saved file along with a new HijackThis log.
