Hi Y'all,
I've been really thinking, which download manager/accelerator is the best? I've tried DAP (Download Accelerator Plus), also tried Internet Download Manager and Free Download Manager but can't really say if I'm satisfied with 'em or not. My criteria borders mainly on speed (how many connections they can open to an independent server), and of course resumability of paused/interrupted downloads. Any ideas guys??? Gotta be malware free toooo. Thanks in expectation of your responses.

Hi extrodewise.

My favourite is STAR DOWNLOADER, running 8 d/l parts, and DOWNTHEMALL FireFox addon.

Both Free and Pro versions can be found here http://www.stardownloader.com/downloads.php

Cheers

I think every download manager has its own features. It depends on your bussiness. In my opinion, I think IDM is the best, I'm using it and I feel very satisfied.

I haven't tried many so I can't say if this is the best or not, but I like Download Express.

It's like every other app really. Try things out and stick with what works best for you.

I have DTA (DownThemAll!), Download Statusbar, Download Helper and FlashGet add-ons. I use them all  Every has its own advantages.
