I have recently been infected with Dropper Trojan. I downloaded preparation guide before posting " hijack this log" however I was unable to run spybot as it would not update as I was denied access to uninstall .dll files of the previous version of spybot. I have also found that I am unable to uninstall some unwanted programmes, for the same reason.
I have also found that I am unable to access photos/adobe files/timetables etc which are off various websites when using firefox, IE opens them o.k. but that's not a fix, I prefer firefox. Using Windows XP SP3 Firefox Comodo Firewall and AVG 8 Free which was able to locate Dropper but was unable to remove it. The computer is getting slow on booting
up too. I know this is a whole lot of problems, but can you guys help me as to the newxt step. Should I post a Hijack This Log? Thanks Cal

I have rechecked my AVG and now it shows that DROPPER is not in the system on todays scan. I have run Malwarebytes anti malware quick scan and nothing comes up, system appears clean. However I'm still unable to update Spybot find a Wireless network etc as I "access denied" under the RUNDLL popup. Cal

I have posted info under Comodo, after looking at the Comodo Forum I find that when using Defence+ that access is denied to many things, for moment I have switched it off. Next step to switch to Training! Cal
