Whenever i start up my computer my sidebar always comes on, but now nothing shows up, i cannot open the welcome center, i cannot open windows updates but all my other programs work fine. when i try to open them a window shows up then closes quickly, am i Missing a file or somthing?

hey..im a just 17 years kid from portugal..and i am ******* desperate with my computer..'cause i have this same problem..i cant open the update window..neither other programs from windows i cant open the window where you change your wallpaperF*** this **** is driving me insane..it opens and just closes himself..please please if you find a sollution for this..send me an email to


e even tryed to erase some of the last updates..but it didnt work..im such an n00b with vista..
