My dad has screwed up his xp prof. laptop, and i am trying to fix it....twerp opened a mail attachment with a virus.....although it has been removed...i think! - it won't boot to windows...just gets a blue screen with the usual warning - you computer has a virus/spyware detected.
Can browse via task manager, but can't get into windows, safe mode or anything...have run chkdsk which reported an error, but cannot run system restore or anything...due to not having administrator password...

Have AVG antivirus which found lots of tracking cookies and trojan horse killAV.IL ...but i can't get any further than the blue screen warning...any ideas?
