I just bought 2 identical hard drives, and I want to know how to set them up to use RAID 1. I know my motherboard supports it, but how do I go about actually telling it to use RAID?

There is likely an option in the BIOS when you boot up the system. What is your motherboard?

Ok. Do I format the hard drives first?

I'm not exactly sure which mobo it is, and it's too dark to look at it atm.
