Hello BC!
My friend recently did a clean install from Feisty Fawn to Hardy Heron - I am unaware of the exact details, but I'm sure a mistake was made in the process. At the moment, he cannot load Ubuntu or Windows Vista at the GRUB screen.
When he tries to load Ubuntu, he gets:

Error 17: Cannot mount selected partition

Press any key to continue...

And when he tries to load Vista Basic, he gets:

Error 13: Invalid or unsupported excutable format

Press any kay to continue...

Any help would be appreciated!

Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don't desire, but they're inevitable, we have to face them. It's what being human is all about. -Jet Black; Cowboy Bebop
