Missing Display Properties Tabs

OK....feel like a dumb a$# ... I got hit with virus/malaware. I was able to clean the harddrive usinBullgurd 8.0, but after clean-up I find that my display properties is missing the Walpaper and screen saver tabs.

How can I restore these? :thumbsup:

The first thing is to be sure that you're clean. I'd suggest a couple of these free, online scanners to verify that you're clean:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)

If you're not clean, then a fix is unlikely to help you out - and if you're not clean, I'd suggest posting in the Am I Infected forum for assistance from the experts (here's the link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/ )

Once that's done, post back and we'll work on fixing the display properties.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Thanks for the help. After I ran Bullguard I also ran every thing I could find both in normal and safe...dumprd restore points and did it again....paranoid,

I dugg into the registry and found 3 bad entries.
