Hey there,
I feel like a total Dumba**, I got that Antivirus 2009, and couldn't get it off - So I did a recovery on a friends HP. All went well until we tried to load the CD for the modem, It doesn't load. In fact the drive doesn't even recognise that something is in it. It runs but nothing shows on screen. Please help!

Thanks in advance, ....

Try this. Open the Device Manager (Start > Run > type "devmgmt.msc"). Locate the CD/DVD drive, right click on it and select "Uninstall". After it has uninstalled reboot the computer (it will be automatically reinstalled).
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
