If i had a website, i would not hesitate to link to this site.
But i don't
When i send emails from my msn account i notice that when they are recieved, there's a link to msn messenger in them.
How would i add a link to this site onto the bottom of my emails?
Hope this topic is in the right forum.

 Starbuck

Try this. :flowers:

1. Copy this link: Bleeping Computer.Com-Computer Resources For The Novice User

2. Click on the Copy button next to the scissors above e-mail text box.
3. Now click on the next button Paste

You will now see a clickable link to Bleeping Computer.

hi Scarlett
Once again you come to my rescue
Thank you.
it took me awhile before i realised that the reason i had no scissors.... was that the 'rich text editor' was switched on. :flowers:
i got it to work in the end.
another question now.... (oh no, she says)
do i have to do this everytime i send an email, or is there a way that i can set up a template with this link in ???

Good question. Yes you can add it in your signature. Let me get back to you in a bit. Unless of course it begins to storm. Warnings are out. Then I will shut down till all is clear. I do not want to take any chances.

 I can't believe I did not think of this to begin with. Here goes.

> Sign in to HotMail

> Click on Options
Very far upper right hand corner. Next to help

Look at the list on the left.

> Click on Mail

The 6th choice down is
Personal Signature
Create a signature to add to your messages.

> click on that

> Be sure that show rich text toolbar is checked. :flowers:

> Under Font Style You will see a silver looking button.

> Click on that. A box will pop up where you can Insert/Edit Link

> Type in www.bleeping computer.com :inlove:

> Click on the Insert button

> On the bottom right. Click OK

Now the link to BC will show in every e-mail that you send. :trumpet:

You know I never thought about linking Bleeping Computer in my e-mails, until Starbuck brought it up. I honestly do not know why.
