I have XP Pro and Office 2003. When someone sends me an e-mail I get three notifications for each e-mail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook, repaired Outloook, Changed notification settings. Still I get three notifications for each e-mail I receive. Any Ideas?

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Hi MaureenBeck, and welcome to BleepingComputer.

This may be an issue for you ISP, have you given them a call to see if their e-mail server is having problems?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

When was the last time you restarted your computer. Sometimes leaving your computer on for long period of time you tend to lose the communication to the server. I have experienced this issue multiple times with my end users. Give that a try and respond back.

On a nightly basis the computer is restarted.
