I have been looking and reading and can't figure out when you refrence AVG anti virus 7.5 is that the same as AVG anti spy waer 7.5. I went to oldversion.com and downloaded avg anti virus and the file looks the same as the anti spy ware I already have.

The setup files are very similar indeed, but they are two different programs.
Why are you getting 7.5 from oldversions?
AVG AV is now at 8.0 and should be downloaded from Grisoft.
