Anyone know of good audio jewel case editor freeware?
Esp. Vista compatible.

Also there was a web site with an online Java app that printed it for you.
Anyone remember the site? I can't seem to hit it in google.

Hi MilesAhead.
I use Nero Cover Designer installed along with Nero.
Can't vouch for it myself, but CdCoverCreator get's a 6\6 rating (best) at NoNags.
Version 2.5.2 is Vista Compatable and available at the authors site here.
Be careful with this particular type of freeware, much of it contains adware. As far as i can tell, the above does not.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. A couple of PCs ago I tried CDBurnerXP but it wasn't compatible with
my CD/DVD writers. I tried it again and it works on both my XP and Vista machines. Freeware
that burns and prints covers. The only feature it doesn't have is printing a front cover with
large text, but I can get around it by using an editor with Center Paragraph alignment and
doing screen cap and resizing the image in IrfanView.

The nice thing is the back cover automatically does track list with times and title on the spline.
Doesn't have cover search but once you have an image you can load it on the front cover.

Best I've seen so far for free.

The other thing I like is it does multi-threaded .flac file conversion. Very cool!!

Hmmmmm for just printing a text front jewel case insert I found this little freeware at Nonags
called CoverCreator 4.2

CoverCreator

Unfortunately it doesn't let you adjust font size or boldness of the text
but it's simple and fast. Esp. good if you want to use a minimum of ink
for the front cover. ;)

It can also print the back tray insert but you have to edit manually or paste the text in,
although it does put in centered spline text. But for the back tray I think it's easier just
to use the CDBurnerXP cover print function. Use the Slim jewel case profile to just print
the front booklet insert.
