Heya all

Hope you can help me out with this.
I removed 153 viruses and like 600+ addware from this computer last month. Its a Compaq Presario SR1250NX, mostly used for my moms email. I downloaded all the recomended Windows updates, compaq drivers and added a firewall. Appearently the sound now only works in video games and i cant burn CDs anymore. itunes displays an error everytime it loads "itunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Vid playback may not load".

I have repaired/updated all current drivers. I have uninstalled Realtek High Def Audio driver (v5.10.0.5172) and windows recognized that it needed a new driver and replaced it. I have updated XP service pack. Reinstalled quicktime+itunes. And im at the /format drive + /slash wrists point. Thought maybe you guys might have some insight into what to do next.

Thanx all for any help you can think of.
