Hey all,

Have a failing ATA harddrive in a Dell Dimension 2400. CHKDSK showed 32K in bad sectors. My first hint of issues was wicked SLOW boot.

Have chosen a WD Caviar SE (SATA) to replace. $50 for my wife's internet and word processing PC.

My question: If I follow the WD LifeGuard tool for windows, it will walk me through imaging the old onto the new? allowing me to toss the old at the end of the process? That easy or are there some gotcha's I should be looking out for before I proceed?
