Hi to all
We have this little problem at home.

We are running a little home network via wi fi, and is made like this :

One desktop pc with win XP SP3, connected directly to a router

One access point Hawking connected to the router, that gives the wi fi network in the house

two laptop pc connected to the wifi, one with his own Wlan ,the other wit a pcimcia card, and all is running fine.

The problem is coming out when we want to connect another desktop pc to the net with an Hamlet pci card, the card is installed and find the net, but we can not connect to the Internetdirectly, i can not create a ppoe connection because of the router.

The funny thing is that, before there was an usb dangle for the internet connection on this pc and all was running fine; just install the drivers, insert the dangle and the connection was there....now with a card no....

Someone can give us some tips?

Thanks so much

The computer might think it's still using the dongle. Did you uninstall the software for it?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
