I have gone through every method of installing the WinFast PVR2 application possible, and even downloading the lastest driver.

Yet when I access the application this pop up appears.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I do suspect it could be a hardware error though, because I read a post about checking our Device Manager and seeing if the Card was installed and appeared there. But I found this:

Notice the Yellow Exclimation Mark next to Multimedia Controller.

NOTE: I do have a remote control reciever plugged into the computer for the TV.

OK .

You did read the quick install guide, right?

The card is properly seated...connections are made. Device Manager indicates that the drivers are not installed. Use the CD that came with the card, those drivers are known to work with the card.

<<I do have a remote control reciever plugged into the computer for the TV.>>

I guess that I don't know what that means...I don't use remotes for TV on my computer. I suggest unplugging it until you get the card set up properly.

I really don't know what the problem could be. The PVR2 package won't do you any good until the drivers, etc. for the hardware are installed properly.

Found the problem: it was the driver I had installed. On the manual I got with the TV Tuner it said WinFast PVR2. So I assumed it was WinFast PVR2000.

But then I found out my driver was WinFast DTV1000 S, then I downloaded that driver from the site. Works a treat now!

Thanks for your help anyway mate.
