Cable Modem Disconnects Randomly

ok, i have a cable modem from comcast, and i contacted them about this, but they call it "power surges". i dont believe this is a power surge because it happens every day. so, my qestion is, is my computer? my friends never have "power surges". help i dont know what to do!

Hello ashton_r,

Do you have anti surge power sockets? They should be able to stop surges.

Can you describe in more detail what happens when it drops out?
