My computer, especially internet is running very slowly. I've cleaned it up plenty of times yet somehow it still runs slow. It will be okay for awhile then all of a sudden start lagging.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had something like this on my laptop a while back, with that batter thing that sits in your task bar (where windows minimize to). I turned that off, or switched to classic theme, and I was fine. I'm not sure if that is whatis happening, but i just thought I would offer my three cents.

What antivirus and firewall are you using? Sometimes they don't play nice with a computer-a slow down is possible. Just something to throw out for you to think about.
