Before recycling this Dell optiplex gx1p which no longer functions, I need to remove an Imation tape drive which may still work. There are no manuals for it and a web search didn't find on how to open it from scratch. Thanks in advance for useful advice.

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Post back if you have any issues
Got to ask--why save a tape drive? Of course, I never throw away anything either

I don't like to let go of something that might be useful; also, I work for a small non-profit agency and we try to get the last ounce of use out of anything we have. I appreciate the information I received both to the question I asked and through browsing others' queries and expect that I will visit often.
