Interesting article.

I think the fact that round-earthers have a slightly more focused attack than the flat-earthers have defence (they cannot even decide on the shape of the earth!) tells us enough.

There are always people willing to say "the photo is fake" but cannot answer questions posed such as "explain a lunar eclipse" or "ships disappearing over the horizon". The theory is, at best, improbable and, at worst, misguided.

by the way,

no jibber jabber

Who uses that phrase?

WOW .. the article says that we are only 400 miles from the sun? Hmmm I would think we would be burning now, if that were so.

I have read that if you are flying in the Concord SST you can actually see the curvature of the earth. Hmmm

I really think the earth is a globe. I think it must be quite exasperating to disagree with set facts, just for the sake of a principal, that being, wanting to refute facts just because they don't want to trust, or take for granted something told to one. Unfortunately it is not feasible for me to find out for myself if in fact the earth is really REALLY round. I can't fund a spaceship at this time.. but would that be enough? Maybe not.. the earth might look pretty flat viewed from space. Maybe a very high altidude plane? Hmmm I don't know.

The Earth's gravitational pull, the moon, the earth in it's orbit around the sun, the tides. I am by no means a scientist but without being able to articulate in scientific jargon.. those facts all show me the Earth is round. But then again, maybe I am just gullible. ;)

Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
