Howdy,

I have a few gif icons that I saw on some web sites that I saved to my pictures. I downloaded them to Photobucket.

When I want to use one of them, this is the procedure I have been following.

When I respond to a thread I will type in my reply and click preview post. I then log on to Photobucket scroll down until I find the icon, click on the img image option and copy it. I will then go back to my post and paste it.

My question is this. Is there a way to store these icons on my computer so they would be more easily accessed ?

If I am not being clear with my question, please advise me.

Thanks for your time,

Dennis  XP Home, SP3, IE-7

Hello Dennis H,

I don't believe that there is a way of doing this as you would need to host the file first.
Regards,

Alan.

I was afraid of that. Sometimes I have to go through several pages to find the one I want to use because I have added things to the site and the icons have been moved 2 or 3 pages.

I will check on the Photobucket site and see if they have a place to store frequently used uploads. (or some such thing)

Thanks for the reply.

With Photobucket, you can create albums for the images you most often use.
After logging in, on the left side of the page you will see Albums.
Within that there is an option to Add a new album. Give it a name, click Save.
Once the album is created, you can move the images to the album.
When you want to use an image from the album, just click on the name
in the Album section. Just one thing to be aware of: When you move an image
the link will break in the posts you have posted that image in.
