Dear Fellow Forum Members:

I have a lot of news subscriptions and accidentally opened an e-mail posing as CNN (Cable Network News headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia). When I clicked on a news topic hyperlink, a notification popped up that to view the news video I must download VIDEO ACTIVEX OBJECT. By this time I realized it was a fake and
(1) I tried to close the malware's dialogue box but it refuses to close.
(2) I went to Microsoft's official website and tried to download their live safety thing which scans the computer for malware and removes it
but a--no doubt phony--Internet Explorer dialogue box popped up which gave me only 2 options: cancel the scan or "ok" the download
of Video ActiveX Object

I can't afford to pay Microsoft for live chat or telephone help. Is there an expert among you who can help me remove this awful thing?

Sincerely: Sunny RainbowHeart
