i tried to post this question in the "new user orientation" section, but was not allowed. i know it doesn't belong here. forgive me.

when quoting someones post with the intention to reply, there are two buttons "-mquote" and "quote", i have clicked on both of these buttons and got the same result. is there any difference in these buttons, if so, what? why would anybody choose one over the other?
thanks

can i put a little text in the middle between "forgive me" and "when quoting"
i know this isn't the test and scribbles, so i will make it brief. i just wanted the guidance of tg1911, should it not work, i could ask him why. here goes.
