This has been going on for a while now. It seems to be getting worse as days pass. I don't know when it started or why. Anyways, here is the problem: Whenever I try to right click on my desktop, it almost always puts up the little sand watch icon on my cursor, and thats it, my computer is frozen. I can still move around my cursor, but can't do anything else.

Sometimes, and only sometimes does it goes back to a normal cursor and open up the pop up menu after around 5 seconds.

I have no idea what is wrong.

I also think my computer is infected as it has been getting slower, and the computer is making noises like it is processing something while I am not doing a single thing.

Any help guys?

Hi FatalSpirit and welcome to the BC forums. FYI, we are all volunteers here and we investigate logs on a first-come first-serve basis. Please do not continually post to your own log or it will not be answered. We look for logs that have 0 responses from the oldest date opened so if you continually post to your own log it will not be found.

You are currently running an older version of HijackThis. Please click on the link below and download the most current version:HijackThis_sfx.exe
Delete your current HijackThis.exe file and double-click on the file you just downloaded and then click on the Unzip button to install the newer version. It will be installed to the C:\Program Files\HijackThis\ directory by default.

Start HijackThis and perform a new scan. Post your new log file back here as a relpy to this topic and I will review it when it comes in.

OT
I do not respond to PM's requesting help. That's what the forums are here for. Please use them so that others may benefit from your questions and the responses you receive.
