i had to do a system resotre last night because i got tha error message. i had to re-install everything i bought and downloaded, and now ever since, my computer just restarts itself randomly, help!!

oh and i couldnt even go into safe modethats why i did a system restore, and how can i prevent this in the future?

i also just found another problem, my computer randomly restarts itself, i dont think its overheating though

random restarts could be a virus indication. i'd take it into a repair shop for full service.

It may be tricky, but you should still be able to access the BIOS. Once there, set the optical drive as the first boot device, Put the Windows CD in the drive, exit and save. Then do another repair install

for one thing, i dont have the CD, and 2, i already did a system restore, the only problem im having now is it reboots randomly, and also, i can't download and install msn messenger. i have the original messenger, but thats outdated.

i justfound yet another problem, i cant startup limewire, i installed it and tried to startitbut it goes to a certain pagelike select thedirectoryto put files into, i cant click anythingon that page...except thebg red x thatsabout it...please help!
