I have just installed a Hp printer. I don't know where these files are supposed to be stored. [sid.txt & hpqimgrc.resources.dll 5.40.53.0] The printer is working fine. The printer is connected to the pc with a usb cable, and the problem is that, the icon in the system tray that you click so you can remove a usb device safely is on. I don't know if this is normal as I do not want to remove the printer.

What are these files t368 File 24KB and t2n0a File 24KB? Thanks.

Where are you seeing these files? If its a usb printer (with a memory card slot) you will see that icon in the system tray

The printer has a pictbridge slot, maybe that is why the usb green arrow is showing. The extra files are on the local disk(c:), they appear when I select local disk c:. My other files are neatly in their folders but these seem to be orphans from somewhere. Thanks.

If they are in your c:\ folder they are prob ok to delete. But if they are not harming anything I would leave em alone for now.

As for the printer it is probably that memory card slot
