Posted 07 August 2008 - 02:41 PM

my computer has gotten antispycheck recently and i have tried the spybot search and destroy and found the problem, thought removed it and upon reboot problem has reoccurred. i read something about the trojan zlob and searched about 4 hours for it but couldnt locate it. i deleted most of the files i located that came along with the asc program and the only message that comes up now is the system error popup bubble which directs me to the antispycheck website. i hope this is enough information to isolate and cure the problem. HJT file should be attached but i pasted it below as well.

I think this solved it but there were several that I would have to remove upon reboot. I'll assume the problem is solved and thank you. If it didn't fix it I will post again.

Hi

Your McAfee anti-virus definitions are out-of date ... please update them to stay safe

Also your System Drive C: has 3.16 GiB (less than 15%) free.

Windows needs space to to expand & run files, some time after it has less than 15% free, it will freeze or possibly blue screen & refuse to boot into windows ... make sure you NEVER have less than 15% free to avoid this happening.

I would still like to see a Kaspersky Online Scan report ...

& I'd like you to run this :-

Please follow these directions to run Combofix & post a log.
