Hi There, i am a newbie to this forum lark.
I have been using computers a very long time, the first computer was a mainframe Computer with hard disc drives that you changed by hand and the discs weighed about 15 kilo's.
Then i graduated to Commodoer PET computers, remember them.?

Anyway i have been out of the computer scene for about 10-12 years, using them all the time but not really bothered about how they worked, left all that to the IT team, but since being made redundant and finding another job where the IT support is what you do yourself i thought i had better spruce up my talents.

Looking forward to passing on any tips i have and helping out when i can.

You can certainly lean on the experience of our Members to help you until you learn enough to be your own technical support staff.
