Sharing Files Between Two Computers On Same Wireless Network

i have a Win XP Pro Desktop, and a Vista notebook. i would like to access my notebook's files from my desktop, and eventually vice versa. they are both connected (Desktop is wired, notebook is wireless) to he same network through my linksys router. what is the best solution? thank you

May I ask, are both of the computers on a domain or regular workgroup?
