many MMOs use various versions of nprotect gameguard as "hacking prevention", in spite of there being much proof it doesn't actually work. gameguard attempts to terminate any process it thinks is a hacking tool, whether that process IS or IS NOT. I'm told processguard had the ability to prevent non-user-initiated terminations of processes, but being on the shoestring budget that I'm on, buying it isn't on my top ten list of things to do with money(saving for a less outdated PC is much higher importance).

now, one of the games I play that uses gameguard, is using a version that thinks that mIRC is a hacking tool. since I try to keep mIRC up at all times when I'm not performing security cleanup work, having gameguard attacking mIRC bothers me.
thus, I'm looking for something freeware that I can use to block gameguard's attempt to kill mIRC. any suggestions, ladies and gentlemen?
