Avg 8.0 Free Getting Stuck

Every time AVG runs it gets stalled on a file named C:\_ISREG32.DLL. AVG just keeps scanning and doesn't advance past this file, but I cannot get it to respond to exit pause or anything. I have to reboot every time to shut down AVG. Therefore it never completes its scan to correct any issues. Is this file something I can delete or am I doing something wrong.
