I have tried Webroots accelerator, Its supposed to make your internet connecion faster. It was faster for a bit, but now its getting really slow and its kinda annoying and stuff. I already uninstalled it but is there a way i can undo any changes it has made?

What operating system are you using?

If its still possible, you could restore your system back to a date before you installed that software. Having said that, many of those types of programs come bundled witrh malware and the uninstall does little to rid you of that.

Can you provide a link to the site you downloaded that from? I can't find any info on it.

Boy did I ever blow that one. I know Webroot and I like their stuff.

That program is a network connection optimizer. What type of connection do you have?

Go to SpeedGuide.net and about half way down that page click on "sguide_default_2k.zip". Download and run that according to the directions.

Patch that reverts the Windows XP / 2000 Registry to its default state regarding TCP/IP, deleting all tweaks

.

SpeedGuide has a lot of good little programs that can tweak your internet connection and their all free.
