Problem With Avg Free Edtion (win/pirate32)

After I scaned my windows xp with Avg free edition, it dected more than 500 files and some .exe infected with win32/pirate. I am not a real expert at this, but it seem it had killed alot of my programs i need to use. Please Help! Thank You!

Sounds like it deleted all the PIRATED programs you have. This is probably cracked programs that you downloaded and installed and it decided to enforce the law and delete them. Now just in the case you don't steal software, it's possible that it thought some of your legit software looked like stolen, so to be on the safe side, AVG deleted it. You should be able to go into the Quarantine/Vault and restore all the files it deleted. You may also want to turn off Heuristics if that's an option.
