All Programs Menu Gone

All programs menu is gone I can't figure out how to restore it my (C:) icon in my computer is gone and the doss screen saying windows has encounterd a problem and has been shut down keeps showing up but windows is still running any help would be appreciated and I do donate to sites Thanks guys Kirk Oh and display panel control has been disabled by system administrator

What operating system are you running Kirk? Ie XP, Vista etc..

Download the following regedit to your desktop:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits...disableundo.reg
It should look like this: Posted Image
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.
That should restore the 'all programs' to the start menu.

Do the same for the following regedit to hopefully restore the control panel:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits...tionrestore.reg

Maybe i'm not the right person to tell you this but When my friend was hit with AntiVirus 2008 he couldnt use Task Manager and Change the Desktop wallpaper
i told him to use SDFix and everything was back to normal. :thumbsup:

I tried the program and windows said reg editor had been disabled by system administrator

Ok, looks like any registry editing is out of the question. Let's try using a VBS script. :thumbsup:
Down the following VBS to your desktop: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits...mcmdrestore.vbs
Close all open windows and double click on it and let it run. Reboot and the PC and try the two regedits again..

I didn't bother you guys with all that I fixed myself Thanks for the help all programs is back now the display control panel has been disabled by the system administrator Oh and dam you guys are good
