I am new here. In fact, the last time I was a part of the network was probably 7-10 years ago.
I used to be a programmer (VB + sybase) but have not done programming for the past 5 years. And it shows! I cannot seem to fight any problems with my computer anymore.

I hope this forum can help - I have browsed it a little and it looks like I am in the right place!

Thank you all for participating - you guys are doing a wonderful job!

Sometimes all the programming experience in the world avails little when confronted with computer problems, as complex as all the hardware, OS, and applications has become.
I am sure our Members can help you with any problems you have.
Welcome to BC!

Thank you, John!
At least, I hope some of my former experience will make my life a bit easier...
It is like when the cable guy came in to install my cable internet and had to run some installations - he was on the phone with his company tech support and following the instructions when he opened up the CMD window and started typing "comfig" - I was able to correct him to "config"

But seriously - I hope you guys can help - none of my friends could so far!

Vlad
