While playing games like counter strike 1.6 and running ventrilo at the same time my monitor turns black saying analog/digital its a new samsung that i bought last week... so yeah i was playing cs 1.6 i threw a smoke and i look at it and than turn back than my monitor turn black but i can still hear the fans spinning and such seems like its on but my monitor is all black and i dont see anything at all.. so i usually just hold down my power button intill it turns off and i just turn it back on... Can this be a hardware issue or a issue i can fix without buying anything new or replacing anything?? It also turns pitch black when i run movies or video files on vlc media player or load alot of images on mozilla firefox..... and usually my cpu usage is always at 100% usage but i think i fix it with ad aware 08 by deleting some spywares from cookies.. Its also happening when i run small programs such as AIM(aol instand messenger) and winamp... It also does it when im on firefox loading java/adobe flash stuff.. youtube is fine...

My Pc is a Dell Optiflex gx270 with a Nvdia Geforce 4 MX 440 with agp8x and im using a samsung syncmaster 953BW 19 Inch(my monitor)

thanks, splashh

Make sure all of the connections are tight. What resolution are you running your monitor at? Also, you can try testing it on another computer and if the same thing happens you can return the monitor for defective issues.
