An older CD, made five to six years ago on a PC, won't play on my Mac. I asked the person who made it, who swears that it worked on his PC when he burned it, and has used it since. On a mac, it says that it can't read it, and a PC with the next-older than Vista (I think XP), it won't recognize there's a disk in the drive.

Any ideas?

Is this an audio CD, or an MP3 CD, or data? Try playing it on a boom box or stereo. Or even your DVD player.
