Hi, :flowers: I just burnt a damn small linux live cd and need to know what the various drives are labled e.g.( hda1 hda2 etc ) :thumbsup: so that Ican save my settings What are the mountable drives labled and what do they do . CD drive usb so forth . Thanks . And how do you remaster live cd to save settings on the cd itself (remaster live cd ) Is anyone buy any chance familiar with this in Damn Small Linux . :trumpet:

I've done the re-mastering in "Puppy"....not sure about DSL. I looked at the
version I have and don't see anywhere to do that.

Yeah I have a remastered puppy 3.01 also :trumpet: . let me ask this how does DSL identify the drives when you click on the mount options hda1 hdd and so forth, Of the mount options which would be the usb and which would be the cd drive? When you click mount there is about six abreviated choices and I don't know which is usb or which is the cd drive . :thumbsup: I think the option to save settings is avallable in the current DSL somehow ,but I know it is no fun resetting everything everytime ! :flowers:

Hay there bbulbb, what ver. are you using ?
Hda(1,5 etc.) is the hard drive, Fd0 is the floppy, Sda(1,4,etc.) is the optical and flash drives.

I Haven't used DSL for over a year now. most of my use was "live only" with 2.2 - 3.1
