I've used the tutorial 'How to Repair Internet Explorer 6 and Outlook Express in Windows' up to and including Method 2, but when I try to download IE6 I get an error message (see attached file). If I try to download one of the repair programs I get the same message. The IE6 problem I'm trying to fix is that I keep getting these error messages. I've manually run my anti-virus program (NOD32) and it's not detected any problems.

Any suggestions appreciated on how I can re-install IE6 now I've changed the value from 1 to 0 in step 5 but can't download?

<<I try to download IE6 I get an error message (see attached file).>>

I see no attachment. Anyway...can you write out the error messages you receive?

Have you considered updating to IE 7 as a solution?

Is XP current with updates? Current today would be SP3, IMO.
