Good Morning all

1st post but I am familiar with your site and find it very helpful...

I was wondering if one of the experts out there could look over the following HiJackthis log and tell me if YOU see anything...I've run a AVG a few times now over past 24 hours and sometimes the 17PHolmes572.exe shows as a trojan on the AVG list and sometimes it does not?

I can't find it (17PHolmes572.exe) on my Hijackthis log, but I do know that these things can take on diffferent names when launched, so I just wanted a fresh set of experienced eyes to look over my log and tell me if I'm at risk or if AVG got rid of this for me during one of my several antivirus scans?

I have reset the system restore in case you're wondering.

Thanks very much in advance!!!

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

My name is Simon V., and I'll be glad to help you with your computer problems.

I can't see any reference to malware in your log, but let's look a little deeper -

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, Deckard's System Scanner will open two Notepad files: main.txt and extra.txt - please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
