Hiii..

I installed belkins wireles usb adaptor.. and everything was running randy dandy...

And earlier, due to a lovely thunder storm, there was a power cut....

So when the power came back on, I turned on my computer, and relised I couldnt connect to the wireless connection.

I click on the belkin wireless usb utility program, and it said that the adaptor was not detected, and to insert it and click ok to continue. So I took the adaptor out, put it back in, and hit OK.... nothing happened...

I uninstalled, restarted, installed, restarted pluged in usb adaptor, nothing happened... not even the found new hardware wizzard opened up like the first time i installed it.

downloaded the latest version of the software, and still nothing happened....

If this continue, theres going to be nothing left of the adaptor after i jump on it 1 gazillion times... grrr

Any ideas apart from taking it back to the shop and start another rant??

That's why they make backup battery/surge protection equipment. Sometimes that doesn't help either. Is there a reset switch on the back of the adapter? It might be a small hole where you can push a toothpick in

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
