Is there any way to set the default search engine to show search results as posts or topics? The only way I can get results to show as posts is to use the advanced search.
It's not that big of a deal, but when you're looking at threads over 10 pages long it gets kind of time-consuming and frustrating.
"If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way." - Bertrand Russell

A better search function has been discussed many times. It's presence (or lack of) is built into the forum software and really cannot be improved.

I sometimes use google to search single sites, including this one. I have found if you type site:bleepingcomputer.com plus whatever you are searching for, to be effective

To search certain forums and/or subforums add "BleepingComputer.com > Forum > Subforum" changing forum and subforum into those you wish to search.
