Yahoo Messenger (version 8 and 9) constantly signs out every few minutes. I thought it was just a problem with YM but then I tried Windows Live Messenger and AIM and they give me the same problem. I have used Windows Live Messenger before on this computer and it has never done that.

What could be the problem?

My computer is an HP Pavilion a1747c with Vista OS. Also, I installed TSP codec (a fix for Yahoo voice chat running on Vista system) when I started using Yahoo Messenger. hxxp://www.yazakpro.com/chatstuff/yahoo/vistayahoovoicefix.html

SUPERAntispyware, Avast, and Eset online did not find any malware on my computer.

Welcome to the BleepingComputer Forums. Since it has been a few days, please post a new Deckard's System Scanner Log which includes the HijackThis log. Please see Preparation Guide for use before posting about your potential Malware problem. Thank you for your patience.

If you have already posted this log at another forum or if you decide to seek help at another forum, please let us know. There is a shortage of helpers and taking the time of two volunteer helpers means that someone else may not be helped.

Please post a new HijackThis log. I need the HijackThis log so I can analyze it. The rest of the Deckard's System Scanner log gives information that will help me analyze the HijackThis Log.

Thanks for your offer of help but I don't think that my problem really requires an analysis of a log file and I really need help quick with it. So I posted a thread in the computers applications section of this forum without any logs. But if I don't get a response there, I will post in this section again with a new Deckard's System Scanner log.

After you get your immediate problem fixed, I suggest that you post a new HijackThis log. I saw several things that needed fixing. Would you like me to leave this thread open?

The computer experts may refer you back to this forum to make sure that there is no malware present.
