I am working on a friend's computer and find this software running in the Task Manager and cannot get it to stop loading. I have located the file in the Windows\System dirctory and deleted it but it keeps coming back. I feel it is some sort of Spyware and cannot remove it with anything. I ran Spybot Search and Destroy when I first got the computer and it found 250 gremlins running on the computer. I have also purchased and run RegCure. I have run CCleaner and CalmWin free version virus software which found 425 viruses. The machine has not been run since 2006 but it is almost running now.
Does anyone know what this software is?

Rule of thumb: When you Google a file and absolutely nothing shows up, You're infected. I would suggest posting in our malware
I will move you there

I am searching and posting this problem from a different computer, than the one that has the file. I have run a file find and it is not on this computer.

On the other computer, go to jotti's virusscan or virustotal.com. In the "File to upload & scan" box, click the "browse" button and locate the following file:
Qubngkzo.exe <- this file
Click "Open", then click the "Submit" button.
-- Post back with the results of the file analysis in your next reply.

Sorry but I wored in the dark (DOS) with a Windows 98 Boot Disk and deleted the file before IU got your resaponse. I also used the dame boot disk to go into the GoBack _RESTORE\TEMP directory and delete 8467 ,cpy files. Aparrently GoBack was restoring the file every time I rebooted. anykway I have already rebooted 6 times sin I got home and the file is gone.
