Ok I'm totally unfamiliar with forums. I seem to be answering to myself just now, but I'll try again.
More info on my infection:
The antivirus 2009 webscanner pop up which comes as a Microsoft security warning has detected
sypware.Iemonster.b risk level critical
zlob.PornAdvertiser.Xplisit risk level high
trojan.infostealer.banker.s. risk level medium

Can i rely on this pop up as being from Microsoft and just simply press on "remove all"?
I also noticed in my system's information list: 2 other doubtable files using up memory: csrss.exe and smss.exe
Last I set up Hijackthis and did everything properly.
I am looking for the simplest way to get rid of the useless bugs, without spending all night if possible.
Thanks

Hello bartess and welcome to BC

XP Antivirus 2009 is a rogue antispyware program, a wolf in sheep's clothing if you will. Those alerts are not properly from the Windows Security Center.

You can read more about it and how to remove it from your system here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-re...virus-2008-2009

If you have any questions or problems regarding this issue, please post back to this thread which I have moved to the Am I Infected forum.
