Hi, I have this error, the "Power Calibration Error" everytime I try to burn a dvd-r, I never had this issue before, after I upgraded my computer, I put this dvd drive into my new computer, and from there on, I can't burn any dvd-r disks, but I still can burn cd-r disks, by the way Im using vista.

Anyone also encountered this problem? I read some fixes on the google, but its for XP.

Thank you in advance

Try a different brand, higher quality disk. What burning software are you using?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
