Hello, my system has been running extremely poorly. Slow processing and what not? Then yesterday while running Flash MX I was unable to test my files all of the sudden. I defragged, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing seemed to work. Now here I am. Although you may not be able to help me with my flash issues, please check my HJT Log and help me with my system performance. I am hoping that an improvement in performance will help fix my Flash Application.

Please, I am a moron and I don't know how to service my system and I really need help. I have done aveything I know to do and I am not smart enough to figure this out on my own.

Hello sfreder439 and welcome to the BC forums. After reviewing your log I see no signs of viruses or malware at this time. Your log is clean. Poor performance can be caused by any number of issues relating to hardware and/or software. I have no way of drawing any conclusions as to what your issue might be with the information I currently have.

Here are some things that you can check:
  • What hardware or software changes have you made recently
  • What processes are utilizing the the cpu the most
  • What do the event logs say regarding any system or software errors
Since this is not a malware issue you might also want to post your situation in one of the other forums for your particular operating system and see what other users have to say regarding your situaltion.
